Donations help Macmillan to fund more nurses and therapists to help people through cancer treatment. It helps them provide more information support centres offering free and confidential advice. It will support their campaigns to improve cancer care and fight discrimination.
Each year, over 100,000 people of working age are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. More than 500,000 people are balancing caring for a loved one with cancer with a full or part time job.
