Investing in youth with five new appointments

We are delighted to announce a series of new appointments at C365 Cloud which further underscores our commitment to giving young adults their first step into the workplace.

The recent appointments mean that more than half of our colleagues are under the age of 25 - currently, the workforce includes three graduates, three apprentices, two former apprentices and three students undertaking a year-long work placement.

Recent appointments include Adnan Goraya, 27, a graduate from Leeds Metropolitan University with MSc in Information and Technology.

Meanwhile, Patrice Callan, 20 from Derry, Northern Ireland and Steve Booth, 20 from Wakefield, both studying for a BSc Computing have joined the company on a year-long internship where they will develop their skills in IT and customer service.

Other new appointments include Amy Williams, 20, from Wakefield who joins the company as Assistant Operations Co-ordinator while she undertakes an apprenticeship in Customer Service Level 2. Sophie Hodgson, 17, joins C365 Cloud as Accounts Assistant in her first job.

Malcolm Wallis, our managing director, says: “From the very beginning it has been important to me as an employer to be able to invest in and give young people the opportunity to prove themselves and take the first step on the career ladder. There is a huge pool of talented young people out there who have skills and ambition but they are a generation at risk of being ‘lost’ because of events beyond their control.”

“Employing recent graduates and apprentices means that we can help manage their careers and develop the skills that we need to grow our business further.”

Adnan said: “I was really impressed by C365 Cloud's commitment to invest in my career and help me develop my skills in a business environment after leaving university. The company has given me a great platform on which I can contribute to C365 Cloud's continued growth while advancing my own experience and expertise.”

Mr Wallis added: “Investing in our people is at the heart of our strategy and our commitment to supporting our staff through apprenticeships and further work-based training forms part of this.”
